Hellos friends!
Apparently it’s February? Can you believe it? In the last few weeks I’ve gotten a few messages asking about our little newsletter. It’s been missing a while now, but I think everyone felt vaguely lost in January and felt like the newsletter might only be vaguely lost as well. Ha! Spoiler alert…. our little newsletter is more than lost, it is no more! We had a great year writing letters to each other, Erin and I, but all yearlong experiments must come to an end at the end of the year. Such is the way of things, after all.
But don’t worry: Erin and I still wave at each other from our residential states. We still write words and share them with people. (Just not you… at least not currently.) And I still covet Erin’s weather every. single. day.
In merely tangentially related news, I am starting a new substack with a group of friends (who all live in cold states) to talk about… not writing at all this time… but anything and everything we ever wished our children actually wanted to hear us say. It’s kind of like a newsletter storage house for all those “wah, wah, wah” speech bubbles in the Peanuts cartoons. In case our kids are ever interested? (Future date uncertain.) And for when we’ve forgotten all our good ideas? (Tomorrow most certainly.) If you are interested in letters about motherhood, families, spirituality, or how you should never, ever, ever forget to change your twitter password even if you haven’t been on twitter in five years you can find us over there at:

Regardless of your future newsletter reading efforts, thanks for spending this year with Erin and me.
We love you all,
Jamie
I was just thinking about your newsletter the other day! Sad to see it go, but it was fun while it lasted. Good luck with your future newsletter(s)!
